A Letter From Board of Directors

Dear Community,

Next Year-2025-will mark 51 years since Goshen Volunteer Ambulance Corps was founded. A group of service-minded citizens saw the need and formed the Corps in 1974 to respond to the medical emergencies of their neighbors. Over the years our organization has changed with the times. There are fewer volunteers and greater expenses than ever. We have renovated our building on New street and have received delivery on two new ambulances. With our service to the community we continue to outgrow our building.Our EMS 911 Call volume has increased substantially over the last two years. Goshen Volunteer Ambulance (Goshen EMS) expects to respond to about 3000 EMS calls during 2024.

Goshen EMS has hired a Chief of EMS/COO who is a NYS Paramedic and certified in many aspects of EMS administration. Goshen EMS has also onboarded assistant chief’s and officer leadership staff that help the agency progress in our standard level of care, response and ability to service our community.

Our Annual Fund Drive is a vital source of revenue to fund our operations and maintenance of supplies and equipment. Without the donations received in our fund drive, we could not provide the level of emergency services that we currently do or increase our level of services.
